This movie was very touching even though it started off slowly.I like the movie because it displayed somewhat of what a friendship is suppose to be like.I also liked the movie because  it showed that love doesn't happen in a day nor does a true friendship. I admire Mario because he was so ambitious and he was outgoing. The movie showed different things about class,  and friendship and i think we all should have learned something from this movie.

The theme that i saw a lot of was love, i saw these particular theme a lot because it was everywhere.Mario loved his country he loved his job, he loved his friendship with Pablo last but not least he loved BEATRICE. Mario got a job as a post man because he wanted to better his self and his country. When Mario and Pablo became friends it seemed as if Mario enjoyed Pablo's company and he valued all the lessons Pablo had taught him. I saw his love for him as a son should love his father.

I find myself to be some what similar to Pablo because I think that everyone should be treated  same. It shouldn't matter how much you spent on your clothes or how much money your family has because we all need each other for something.
When Pablo wrote "I was happy in Italy, where I led a simple life, with simple people." I think what he meant was they lived simple life's and they enjoyed their surroundings more because they  didn't have all the flashy things distracting them.

Poetry got Mario into a lot of trouble but it also helped him find true love. Pablo taught Mario how to use metaphors and Mario kept  practicing with his poems and he wrote a sweet poem to Beatrice to make her fall in love. then her grandmother found it and was upset beacuse she felt like Mario was calling her grandchild a whore. poerty is what also ended Mario's life.
